Breeze Documentation

Breeze is a native macOS terminal for running TUI-driven AI agents — a full workspace with tabs, balanced splits, truecolor, scrollback, and a command palette. What sets it apart is that it doesn't just host each agent, it manages it: throttling adapts to whether a session is running tools, streaming, waiting, or idle, background tabs freeze to zero, and stale helper processes get reaped — so your laptop stays cool and lasts the day.

Get started

Build it from source and run it — it works great out of the box. Want to tune fonts, theme, or cursor? The optional ⌘, settings palette has you covered.
